\subsection{Hebrews 4} \VS{1} Let us fear therefore lest, while [a] promise is being left [us] to enter into his rest, any seem among you to come short. \VS{2} For indeed we are good-newsed just as those [were], but the word of hearing did not benefit those not having mixed what was heard with belief. \VS{3} For we the [ones] having believed enter into rest just as he said: \begin{verse} As I swore in my wrath, \\ [No way] will they enter into my rest, \end{verse} although the words from the foundation of the world were [already] come to be. \VS{4} For he said somewhere concerning the seventh [day] thusly: \begin{verse} And God rested in the seventh day from all his works. \end{verse} \VS{5} And in this again: \begin{verse} [No way] will they enter into my rest. \end{verse} \VS{6} Since therefore he left some behind to enter into it, and the former having been good-newsed did not enter because of disobedience, \VS{7} again he appoints a certain day --- Today --- saying by David after so much time, just as he speaks before: \begin{verse} Today if you hear his voice, \\ Be not hardening your hearts. \end{verse} \VS{8} For if Jesus caused them to rest, he would not speak concerning others after those days. \VS{9} Therefore [a] Sabbath rest is left to the people of God. \VS{10} For the [one] having entered into his rest has also rested from his works, just as God [did] from his. \VS{11} Let us hasten therefore to enter into that rest, in order that in it any in copy fall from disobedience. \VS{12} For the word of God [is] zoe-living\fnZoe{} and active and more cutting than every two-edged sword and piercing to separation of psyche-life\fnPsyche{} and spirit, joints and marrows, and able to judge the reflections and insights of the heart. \VS{13} And no created [one] is hidden before him, but everything is naked and laid bare to his eyes, towards which the word [is] to us. \VS{14} Having therefore [a] great chief-priest who is gone through the heavens, Jesus the son of God, let us be holding fast the confession. \VS{15} For we do not have [a] chief-priest unable to co-suffer with our feebleness\footnote{or ``weaknessess''}, but being tested according to everything in quite the same way without sin. \VS{16} Let us come therefore with boldness to the throne of grace, in order that we receive mercy and find grace for well-timed help.
