\section{Longing is Not Always Noble} \lettrine{L}{onging} is not always noble. Not every impulse is sacred. Longing has shadows, distortions, and dark twins. Not every unfinished feeling should be romanticized. Some forms of restlessness \textit{are} pathology. Some forms of desire are merely appetite. Some wounds do not reveal the structure of reality; they simply need healing. But not all of them. Some of the deepest motions in us are not mistakes to be corrected. They are clues --- and sometimes, warnings.
