\subsection{Revelation 12} \VS{1} And [a] great sign was seen in heaven, [a] woman clothed with the sun, and the moon [was] under her feet, and upon her head [was a] crown of twelve stars, \VS{2} and having [life] in [her] belly, and she cried out, suffering birth pains and being tormented to be giving birth. \VS{3} And there was seen another sign in heaven, and behold [a] great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and upon his heads seven diadems, \VS{4} and his tail drew a third of the stars of heaven, and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman [about] to be giving birth, in order that when she give birth he may devour her child. \VS{5} And she gave birth to [a] male son, who is [about] to be shepherding all the nations with [an] iron rod, and her child was snatched to God and to his throne. \VS{6} And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had there [a] place prepared by God, in order that they feed her there 1260 days. \VS{7} And there came to pass [a] was in heaven, Michael; and his angels made war against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels made war, \VS{9} And were not strong [enough], neither was there place found any more in heaven. \VS{9} And the great dragon was thrown [out], the ancient snake, the [one] being called Devil and Satan, the [one] deceiving the entire inhabited world, he was thrown [out] to the land, and his angels were thrown [out] with him. \VS{10} And I heard [a] great voice in heaven saying: \begin{verse} Now is the salvation come to pass and ability \\ And the kingdom of our God \\ And the authority of his the Anointed\fnChristos{} [One], \\ For the accuser of his brothers is thrown [out], \\ The [one] accusing them before our God \\ Day and night. \end{verse} \VS{11} And they have overcome him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not agape-love their psyche-lives\fnPsyche{} to death. \VS{12} Because of this be being happy, O heavens, and those tenting in them. Woe [to] the land and the sea, for the devil has come down to you having great wrath, having known that he has little opportune-time\fnKairos{}. \VS{13} And when the dragon saw that he was thrown [out] to the land, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male [child]. \VS{14} And to the woman were given two wings of the great eagle, in order that she fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished there for [a] season\fnKairos{} and seasons\fnKairos{} and half [a] season\fnKairos{}, from the face of the snake. \VS{15} And the snake threw from his belly water like [a] river after the woman, in order that he make her swept-away-by-the-flood. \VS{16} And the land helped the woman, and the land opened its mouth and swallowed the river which the dragon threw out of his mouth. \VS{17} And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he departed to make war with the rest of her seed, those keeping the commandments of God and having the testimony of \Iesous. \VS{18} And he\footnote{``he'' \papyrus{47} \hesychian{} lat; ``I'' \koine } stood upon the sand of the sea.
