\subsection{Revelation 4}
\VS{1} After these [things] I looked and behold [a] door [was] opened in heaven, and the first 
voice which I heard [was] as [a] trumpet speaking with me, saying: Come up here, 
and I will show you what must come to pass after these [things]. 
\VS{2} Straightway 
I came to be in [the] spirit, and behold [a] throne was set in heaven, and [one] having 
sat upon [the] throne, 
\VS{3} and the [one] having sat [was] like in appearance to [a] 
jasper and [a] carnelian\footnote{or ``sardius''} stone, and [a] rainbow [was] around 
the throne like in appearance to [an] emerald, 
\VS{4} and around the throne 
[were] twenty four thrones, and upon the thrones [were] twenty four elders sitting 
clothed in white garments, and upon their heads [were] golden crowns. 
\VS{5} And 
from the throne proceeded lightnings and voices and thunders, and [there were] seven 
lamps of fire lit before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. 
\VS{6} And before the throne [there was a] glass\footnote{or ``transparent''} sea like 
crystal, and the midst of the throne and around the throne [were] four living 
[creatures] full of eyes in front and in back. 
\VS{7} And the first living [creature was] like [a] lion, 
and the second living [creature was] like [an] ox, and the third living [creature was] having the face as of 
[a] man, and the fourth living creature [was] like [a] flying eagle. 
\VS{8} And the 
four living [creatures] had each of them six wings apiece, around [about], and they were full 
of eyes within, and they do not have rest day and night saying:

Holy holy holy Lord God almighty, \\
The [one who] was and [who] is and [who] comes.
\end{verse}

\VS{9} And when the zoe-living\fnZoe{} [creatures] give glory and honor and thanks to the [one] having sat upon the throne [which] lives to the eternity of eternities, 
\VS{10} the twenty four elders fall before the [one] having sat upon the throne, and they worship the [one] zoe-living\fnZoe{} to the eternity of eternities, and they throw their crowns before the throne saying:

\VS{11} You are worthy, our Lord and God, \\
To receive glory and honor and ability, \\
For you created everything, \\
And through your will were they also created.
