\subsection{Revelation 16}
\VS{1} And I heard [a] great voice from the temple saying to the seven angels: Be
going and be pouring out the seven bowls of the anger of God upon the land.
\VS{2} And the first departed and poured out his bowl upon the land. And
wicked\fnPoneros{} and wicked sores came to pass upon the men having the mark of the
wild-beast and those worshipping his image.
\VS{3} And the second poured out
his bowl upon the sea, and it became blood as of [the] dead, and every zoe-living\fnZoe{}
psyche-life\fnPsyche{} died [which was] in the sea.
\VS{4} And the third poured out his bowl upon the
rivers and springs of waters, and they became blood.
\VS{5} And I heard the angel of the waters saying:
You are just, [who] is and [who] was, the approved, that you have judged thus.
\VS{6} For they have poured out the blood of [the] holy [ones] and of [the]
prophets, and you have given to them blood to be drinking. They are worthy.
\VS{7} And I heard the [one] of the altar saying: Yes, O Lord God
Almighty, your judgments [are] true and just.
\VS{8} And the fourth poured out
his bowl upon the sun, and to him it was given to burn men with fire.
\VS{9} And men were burned with great burning, and they slandered the name of the
God having authority over these plagues, and they did not repent to give him
glory.
\VS{10} And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the
wild-beast. And his kingdom became darkened, and they chewed their tongues
for [the] pain,
\VS{11} and they slandered the God of heaven because of their
pains and because of their sores, and they did not repent from their deeds.
\VS{12} And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river Euphrates,
and its water was dried up, in order that the way of the kings of the rising
sun be prepared.
\VS{13} And I saw from the mouth of the dragon and from the
mouth of the wild-beast and from the mouth of the false-prophet three
unclean spirits like frogs.
\VS{14} For they are [the] spirits of demons doing
signs, which proceeded out upon the kings of the entire inhabited-world, to
gather them to the war of the great day of God almighty.
\VS{15} Behold I come as [a] thief. Blessed [is] the [one] watching,
and keeping his garments, in order that he not be walking naked and they see his shame.
\VS{16} And he gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew Armageddon.
\VS{17} And the seventh [angel] poured out his bowl upon the air, and [a]
great voice went out of the temple from the throne saying: It is come to pass.
\VS{18} And there came to
pass lightnings and sounds and thunders, and [a] great earthquake came to pass,
such as has not come to pass since man came to be upon the land, so mighty
[an] earthquake [and] so great.
\VS{19} And the great city became into three parts,
and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered
before God to give her the cup of the wine of the anger of his wrath.
\VS{20} And every island fled, and [the] mountains were not found.
\VS{21} And
great hail as [about] the weight of [a] talent\footnote{about 94 pounds} came down
from heaven upon men, and men slandered God because of the plague of the
hail. Great is this plague exceedingly.
