Anne Ford (1732–-1824) published her \textit{Instructions on Playing the Musical Glasses} on November 2, 1761 in the \textit{Public Advertiser}, London. Apparently the only surviving original copy in the world can be found at the Harvard University Library---to whom I am grateful for a photocopy.

||
|
||
Herein I've reproduced the one (and only) illustration, the title page, and the complete text. Thus this represents her complete and un\-abridged \textit{Instructions}.
|
||
|
||
For those who wish to quote Ms. Ford's \textit{Instructions}, I've noted the page breaks in the text with angle-brackets: $<$2$>$ indicates the page break in Ms. Ford's original \textit{Instructions} beginning at page 2.
|
||
|
||
Because I scanned and manually checked and corrected the result for errors, I'm sure there are still errors lurking, for which I apologize in advance. I've preserved her original spellings (appropriate for the time)---I am grateful in advance for any other bona fide typos of which you are kind enough to give me notice.
