Science gives us one creation story — precise, magnificent, and true in its domain.

|
But it leaves the interior world unaddressed:

|
Why are we conscious? Why does existence feel like it matters?
|
|
Not that science has failed --- it just answers a different question.
|
|
|
|
Perhaps there is room for a second creation myth.
|
|
Not instead of the first — alongside it.
|
|
One for the Brain, one for the Heart.
|
|
|
|
True myths are not lies dressed in narrative.
|
|
They are the stories we tell to make Reality emotionally habitable.
|
|
And to open the aperture of the Imagination.
|
|
|
|
