\subsection{I Corinthians 6}
\VS{1} Does anyone [of you], having [a] matter against another, dare to be
judged\footnote{i.e.take the matter to court} by the unjust, and not by the
holy [ones]?
\VS{2} Or don't you know that the holy [ones] will judge the world? And if
the world is judged by you, are you unworthy of judging [the] least [thing]?
\VS{3} Or do you not know that we will judge angels, let alone things of this life,
\VS{4} if indeed you be judging the things of this life; those despised in
the assembly\fnEkklhsia{}, do you seat these [to judge you]?
\VS{5} I speak towards your shame. [Is there] thus
among you \negd{not one} wise, who will be able to judge between his
brother?
\VS{6} But brother is judged with brother, and this by [the]
unbelieving.
\VS{7} Already indeed therefore actually is defeat to you
because you have judgments within yourselves. Why don't you rather
be-done-injustice?
\VS{8} But you do injustice and deprive, and this [your]
brothers.
\VS{9} Or don't you know that [the] unjust of God will not inherit the
kingdom of God? Be not being deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters,
nor coveters, not drunkards, not abusers, not thieves will inherit the
kingdom of God.
\VS{11} And these [things] were some [of you]; but you are washed, but you
have been made holy, but you have been justified in the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ and in the spirit of our God.
\VS{12} Everything is permitted
to me, but not everything profits. Everything is permitted, but I will not
be brought under authority by anyone.
\VS{13} Foods [are] for the belly, and the
belly [is] for foods. But God will nullify both it and them. But the body [is] not
for fornication but for the Lord, and the Lord [is] for the body.
\VS{14} So God
has both raised up the Lord and will also raise us through his power.
\VS{15} Don't you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Will I
therefore make the members of Christ members of [a] harlot? May it not be!
\VS{16} Or don't you know that the [one] being joined with [a] harlot is one body?
For the two, he has said, will be into one flesh.
\VS{17} But the [one] being
joined to the Lord is one spirit.
\VS{18} Be fleeing fornication. Every sin
which [a] man may do is outside [his] body; but the [one] fornicating sins inside his own body.
\VS{19} Or don't you know that your bodies are the temple of the Holy
Spirit in you, which you have from God, and you are not your own?
\VS{20} For you were bought with [a] price. Glorify God therefore in your body.
