\subsection{Mark 16}
\subsubsection{The Resurrection}
\VS{1} Now the Sabbath having passed, \Maria the \Magdalene
and \Maria the [mother] of \Iakob\fnIakob{}, and
\Salome bought spices that when [they] come they may anoint him.
\VS{2} And very early on the first [day] from the Sabbaths\fnSabbaths{}
they come up to the tomb, the sun having risen.
\VS{3} And they were saying to each other:
Who will roll the stone out of the door for us?
\VS{4} And when [they] looked up, they were seeing that the stone had been rolled away,
even though it was very great.
\VS{5} And when [they] went into the tomb they saw [a] young man sitting at the right
having been clothed with [a] white robe, and they were alarmed.
\VS{6} And he says to them: Do not be being alarmed,
you seek \Iesous the \Nazarious the [one] having been crucified.
He is risen, he is not here; behold the place where they laid him.
\VS{7} But be departing, tell his disciples, especially \Petros,
that he goes before them into \Galileias.
There you will see him just as he said to you.
\VS{8} And having come out they fled from the tomb,
for trembling and astonishment held them, and they said nothing to anyone,
for they were afraid.
\VS{9} \footnote{include vs. 9--20: DW \vulgate{} \koine{};

\VS{9} And they promptly proclaimed everything
having been commanded to those with \Petros. And after these [things] even \Iesous
himself sent out from [the] east even as far as [the] west
through them the holy and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. Amen.'': few}
And after rising early on the first [day] after the Sabbath
he appeared first to \Maria the \Magdalene, from whom he had cast seven demons.
\VS{10} She having gone told those having come-to-be with him,
[who were] mourning and weeping.
\VS{11} These also when [they] heard that he \zoe{}-lives\fnZoe{}
and was seen by her did not trust\fnPistis{}.
\VS{12} Now after these [things],
to two of them while walking he appeared in another form walking to [the] countryside.
\VS{13} These also having left reported to the others;
they trusted not even them.
\VS{14} But later he appeared to the eleven themselves being seated at table,
and he reproached their distrust and hardness of heart
that they did not believe those having seen him when [he] had risen.
\VS{15} And he said to them: After [you] go into all the world,
herald the good-news to all creation.
\VS{16} The [one who] trusts and is baptized shall be saved.
\VS{17} But the [one who] does not trust shall be condemned.
In my name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new languages,
\VS{18} they will take up snakes and whatever deadly [thing] they may drink,
it will by no means harm them,
they will lay [their] hands upon [the] sick and they will be well.
\VS{19} Then indeed the Lord \Iesous after [he] spoke to them
was received up into heaven and sat at the right of God.
\VS{20} But those, when [they] went out, heralded everywhere,
the Lord working with [them] and establishing the word\fnLogos{} through accompanying signs.
